The Garden People offers a comprehensive grounds and gardens maintenance service to housing associations, landlords and other commercial premises. Below is a summary of how we typically deliver our service to customers. We can personalise to individual customer requirements.
Key objectives
Development and maintenance of an aesthetically pleasing and varied landscape that is functional and complimentary to each site and the local environment throughout the year.
Maintenance of site grounds and gardens in a safe manner, ensuring accessibility to residents and members of the public, including existing rights of way.
Maintenance of site grounds and gardens to facilitate the smooth running of core customer operations and ensuring access to the sites at the specific times agreed.
Maintenance and development of site grounds and gardens in a manner that promotes a positive image of the customer to all residents and members of the public.
Scope
The grounds and gardens maintenance service will provide the following, in accordance with agreed service standards and service specifications:
A planned and ad-hoc horticulture service
A planned and reactive maintenance programme
An emergency call-out service to address such occurrences as fallen trees, snow or ice.
There will be a full planned and preventative, maintenance horticulture service. This will include, but not be limited to:
Shrub pruning
Hedge cutting
Lawn care including mowing and edging
Flowerbed maintenance
Weeding and proactive weed control
Planting, including shrubs, trees, flowerbeds
Quality standards
We will ensure that the delivery of the grounds and gardens maintenance will meet the agreed service standards and service specifications.
The delivery will be monitored and recorded, and any deviation from the required standard of service will be rectified as soon as it becomes apparent.
The system will be backed by The Garden People’s quality systems and applied in accordance with good industry practice.
